Biko back to top flight

By Sulayman Bah Steve Biko has won promotion back to the country’s top tier on the heels Biko backof a laboured win over Young Africans. It couldn’t have a better day for coach Abdoulie Bojang after guiding the giant killers to promotion. The Baku-based side won the league GFF First Division in 2013 but suffered a humiliating relegation the following season. A legion of excuses were put up including poor motivation in club players as reasons for the side’s sudden demotion. But while it’s good news for Bojang and men, it’s a bitter pill to swallow for Young Africans who‘ve gotten relegated to the third tier after losing to champions Biko. Elsewhere Kanilai Group International humbled Lamin United 2-1 with already promoted Samger trouncing Immigration 3-1, Marimoo beating SK East Bi1-0 and Tallinding United pulling off a shock one-all stalemate against Blue Stars.    ]]>
