The alleged suspect involved in the stabbing incident on October 4, 2023, which led to the tragic death of one Kebba Ndoye, a resident of Banjul, is finally under Gambian Police custody, after being apprehended and extradited from Senegal, where he sought refuge.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Gambia Police Force Cadet Assistant Superintendent Modou Musa Sisawo, the Police successfully coordinated with their Senegalese counterparts to arrest the alleged suspect who has since been repatriated to the Gambia.

“The alleged suspect is now under the custody of the Gambia Police Force as investigations into this case continue,” he said.

If readers can recall, Police PRO Sisawo last Thursday confirmed to this medium that the Gambia Police Force was working with their security counterparts in Senegal for the suspect to be handed to them as soon as possible, after he was arrested in that country. He said the suspect now awaits prosecution at the end of their investigations.
