With Mamour Mbenga LaminTouray, known by his artiste name “Badibunka”, has released a brand new song titled “KEBAMA NAATA”. The song according to Badibunka’s management was released on Saturday September 4th and will be available online and on all major radio stations in the Gambia. In an interview yesterday at his Kanifing residence, Badibunka who is known for singing only in his native language Mandinka said the “kebamanaata” song is dedicated to those who have been saying that he is silent in the Gambia music industry. “In fact, to my fellow artistes who have been saying that I am not active in the industry, in this new song if you listen to it you will realise that I’m still here and strong. I’m recording songs and shooting video clips. I’m not just in a rush for the public hype again. In most of the lines in the song I tell my fellow artistes especially my fellow afromanding singers that I’m still on top of the game no matter what. I would also like to publicly say that I’m not happy with most of the things going on in the industry, but that is a topic of its own” The Badibunka boy said the song is recorded at Shyboy Entertainment and hopes that it will have more hits than the song he last recorded where he features Sandeng (kanumusu) which is like a national anthem in the Gambia. He concluded by saying that if all goes as planned he will drop an album.]]>
