On Friday, June 21, 2024, the police arrested nineteen individuals following a violent attack on NgainSanjal Police Station, sparked by villagers demanding the release of a suspect accused of magical emasculation (snatching manhood). This led to property damage and injuries to officers who were later hospitalised.
