AMINATA MANNEH STILL MISSING Says family

By Mustapha Jallow The family of Aminatta Manneh, alias Minah, a University of The Gambia (UTG) student and Intern at the American Corner on Kairaba Avenue, told Foroyaa that she is still missing since Wednesday, 18 March 2015, and that they have no clue regarding her whereabouts.Haruna Manneh, the brother, said the family is still searching her 22 year old sister and have been to the Serekunda police where they were asked to write a statement. He said they had again returned to the police on Sunday (22 March) to make further enquiries but that her whereabouts are still not known. “The disappearance of Minah is indeed traumatizing the family, especially my father, who is a diabetic,” he said. It was reported that Minah left her compound on that day around 9pm to buy dinner at a place she goes regularly but did not return home. They searched for her everywhere and tried her phone but it was switched off. The family reported the matter to the police the following day and is still waiting for a positive outcome.]]>
