The APRC No To Alliance claim that they were assaulted by the police using tear gas to disperse them while they had their meeting for which they had a permit issued by the police.
A Foroyaa reporter was shown a permit issued by the police for 18th February, 2024 at Tallinding. So, why did the police use force to disperse the gathering? The police are yet to explain what happened. Our reporter has made attempts to get an explanation from the Police PRO for their action but without success.
