Foroyaa received reports that structures on the sides of the highway from Sting Corner to Jeshwang are being demolished without notice. Our investigation reveals that the structures that are backed by documents justifying their erection should not be touched. It is therefore important for those with documents authorizing the erection of the structures to have them intact and share them with the authorities doing the demolition to get their reaction, which should be conveyed to this paper with immediacy.
On the other hand, the authorities should exercise restraint so as to reduce economic losses of those who built their structures out of ignorance. They should give them notice and allow them to save their properties.
