The National Assembly in Banjul Yesterday, 13 December 2018 approved the National Assembly Salaries and Pensions (Amendment) Bill.
The Bill was tabled before the Lawmakers by the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Hon: Mambury Njie and was passed by the NAMs.
The Bill indicate the salaries allocated to each National Assembly Member and other allowances, their annual earnings from the speaker to the Nominated Members of the Assembly.
The Minister of Finance in tabling the estimated Bill told the NAMs some of the adjustments that have taken place in the Bill compared to the previous year and the adjustments of Salaries.
The Bill was passed without opposition.
