Seejou King, a potential Gambia international, has resumed his trial with Danish premier league club OB Odense, Foroyaa Sport can report.

A left sided defender, King returned to Denmark, his country of birth, after spending over four years in Portuguese football.

The 25-year-old first played for Danish top flight side FC Nordsjælland prior to joining Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon’s reserves’ team in 2011 where he spent four terms.

Having seen chances of breaking into Lisbon’s A-team hard to come by, the fullback opted to change club, switching to Desportivo Aves in the second tier.

Injuries have had tolls on the starlet dogging him even at his new club.

The situation led King into returning to Denmark where he’s now trying to impress a club so as to be offered a deal. This triggered his trial with top tier outfit OB Odense.

The audition started in April but Seejou opted out of the trial owing to a slight knock before resuming this week.

Seejou’s addition could bolster OB’s much kamikaze defence as they look for fire power with the new league now fast moving.
