5 suspended over disciplinary issues from BJL United

Five people, including two players, have been suspended from first division club Banjul United.BJL league

The quintet – three of whom are from the club’s technical bench – have been slapped with two-match bans on allegations of throwing tirades at the referee during their game against Banjul United, a contest they lost 1-0.

The quintet, namely Mustapha Barrow, Pa Ousman Gai (both players), Lamin M. Ceesay, Omar Fatty and Lamin Ceesay are yet to formally answer to the charges from the league’s organising committee.

Banjul United who relinquished the FA Cup title to Wallidan are rooted third from bottom on seven points in ten games.
