By Sulayman Bah Three unnamed top clubs are said to be battling to woo Gambia striker Alagie Sosseh 1, as Foroyaa Sport was informed. Sosseh has become a subject transfer interest with his agent’s space being inundated with enquiries. The attacker has not scored double figures this season but his contribution in relegation-threatened Mjøndalen’s campaign in theNorwegian top tier is not going unnoticed. Clubs from Norway and other European countries are keeping tabs on the Gambian whose contract, signed in 2014, runs out at season’s end. Foroyaa Sport has learnt that three clubs have in fact tabled bids for the 27-year-old. Mjøndalen, who, are not facing financial constraints, despite a low standing in the league, are in no hurry to cash in on their prized possession. The club’s board is yet to enter into negotiation with the player’s representatives over an improved contract, but are nonetheless upbeat of reaching a deal in the coming months to avoid losing him cheaply in December. Alagie Matarr Dodou Sosseh, valued in the region of 100,000 euros, will welcome a move to a bigger club. He was on target in the two-all draw with Sarpsborg O8 last week.]]>
