The Gambia Basketball League season is set to resume with Young Men
Christian Association (YMCA) to square with Brikama.
The encounter billed for the Independence Stadium will mark the
opening of the Gambia basketball domestic championship this Saturday.Basketball is one of the sports scaling the height in a football and
wrestling dominated country. Played around the country, the 2015
league new season only confirms the game’s rising status.
Saturday’s encounter will see YMCA female side aim a dagger at
Serrekunda West in an early kick-off before the 7pm big showdown of
Brikama-YMCA male league opener.
The following fixture features SK West up against Manjai April 4th.
That encounter will witness yet another female competition with Kotu
grinding it out with PCAM.
