Gambian wrestling national team captain Leket Bu Barra has sealed a spot in the semi-finals in the 86 category 
of Burr Promotion Mbapat event.
The Barra-born arena ace opened his first account of the new wrestling season with a win over Autorai.
Little known Autorai vowed to ruffle Leket’s feathers in what was potentially the former’s biggest contest prior to the duel.
But in a clash that lasted six minutes eight seconds, Leket sent Autorai from Club Jeff-Jell packing. The win sees him through to the next round. He faces an even tougher task when the competition resumes December 12th with Abo Sarr, Musa Yandeh and Amical all in the same pool.
Dollar is also through after beating Bullal. In the 100kgs, Ndef Leng, Boy Sarjo, Move Up Solider, Lass Perr, Kojaro and Flex have all but grabbed their places in the second round.
Beb Amaa, Top-5, Eumue Saine, Boy London and Robel have also sailed past the first hurdle.
Total package for prizes hits up D200, 000, the fattest of any prize in the arena of recent.
