The G7 summit needs to address the most dangerous security threat that is being faced since the Second World War when the first and last nuclear bomb was used. Russia and Nato are closely watching each other. Each is suspicious of the other. Consequently the worst is being prepared for including the possible use of nuclear bomb in a limited and strategic way in the name of self defence. The achievements of seven decades of promotion of disarmament and focusing on nuclear test ban are being lost.
