Fooryaa has clearly explained that certain clauses of the Elections Bill are at variance with the 1997 Constitution. At the consideration stage all those provisions that are at variance with the 1997 Constitution should be expunged. This is why electoral reform should go hand in hand with constitutional reform. In actual fact, constitutional reform should precede electoral reform. Foroyaa will be following the process very carefully to inform the public what is required to achieve electoral reform without hiccups.
