QUESTION OF THE DAY

The nation, its development partners and investors are still waiting for a development blueprint which is the compass that should explain where the government is heading. Many promises have been made and Foroyaa intends to hold the government accountable to the people for any promise it makes. A development blueprint is overdue. The government should not go into another budget session without launching its development blueprint that should guide the minister of finance in his budget speech in December 2017.

Only three months are left to come to the end of the financial year. Everything should now be clear to government regarding the socio-economic realities of the country. The challenges are already evident. Hence a development blueprint is not only urgent, it is also indispensable if the government is to have focus and direction.
