Will The 2018 Budget Increase Salaries and The Income of Pensioners?

The Minister of Finance will bring the estimates for the 2018 Budget and give his Budget Speech in December. One of the key expectations is a rise in salaries and the income of pensioners. The Government had to revise its budget and reduce the deficit from 4.7 Billion, to 955 Million Dalasi. Salaries remained frozen. Government promised to dispose of certain assets like the State Aircrafts, remove ghost employees and plaster all the holes which allowed the syphoning of revenue to increase income. Has it succeeded in increasing Government revenue to be able to increase expenditure without issuing treasury bills and bonds to increase Government’s domestic debt?
