Food Safety and Quality Authority (FSQA) should hold a press briefing to explain the difference in quality between the rice branded as ‘sadam’ and the rice branded as ‘American rice’. There is argument that the rice branded ‘sadam’ is what is fit for human consumption and other brands are meant for animal feed.

Foroyaa would want the agency to examine all the brands and properly inform the public what is fit for human consumption and what is fit for animal consumption. The debate is on and needs settlement by expert opinion being given.
