Advertisements are being made of musicians coming to perform at the stadium on Independence Day without any safeguards being put in place to combat COVID 19. If the illness is no longer with us, the Ministry of Health should issue a broadcast on the subject and inform the people accordingly.
The double standard of sensitizing the public on the dangers of COVID-19 and the need to adhere to WHO guidelines only for politicians and musicians to mobilise thousands to gather without any observance of those guidelines should be stopped.
