During the rainy season, rice farms and other farms in Banni and Limbambulu Yamadou in Wulli West were inundated when the river overflowed its banks. Not long after that, farms at Sami Koto in Kantora suffered a similar fate. At around the same time, homes and businesses in Basse were flooded for quite a while and livelihoods and properties were the casualty. Villages in Sandu and Jimara were also affected. We can go on and on.
There is yet no sign of any government support for these victims months after the rainy season has ended.
