Yesterday, a representative from the Senegalese High Commission and Ministerial delegation from The Gambia Government met in Darsilami with the Alkalo and other leaders of the Darsilami community to engage in dialogue with a view to handle the Tranquil border dispute which resulted to the arrest of its Alkalo.
Such arrests and disputes do not contribute to good neighbourliness. It is hoped that this incident would spark a discussion on the final resolution of the problem of a border that is not demarcated.
