QUESTION OF THE DAY
Ousman Darboe has finally been subjected to post mortem and the body has been given to the family yesterday for burial. Even though he is a Sierra Leonean, his family will be giving his burial rites today at the Latrikunda Mosque in preparation for his burial on Gambian soil.
As a sign of respect and national reconciliation, the 37 Gambians who are incarcerated as a resulted of civil disobedience which followed his death should be discharged and released to witness the burial. Dialogue with the youth should begin to find ways and means of preventing recurrence.
