Adjudicating and oversight bodies are supposed to be Independent and impartial in their gathering of evidence and their summation of such evidence to pass judgment or make recommendations. It is therefore, at times, necessary, for those who may be seen to lean towards certain tendencies to recuse from certain hearings just to maintain the integrity of processes even though they may be capable of putting their sentiments aside for the higher good.
