QUESTION OF THE DAY
The Constitution of the Gambia and the Elections Act provide for enfranchisement of the Diaspora. However, administrative decision had prevented the law from being implemented. Now the Diaspora has been making moves through petitions to the IEC to demand for time bound explanation when the IEC will implement the dictate of the law and conduct registration exercise abroad. Foroyaa will contact the IEC to find out its reaction to the petitions from the Diaspora.
