WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE WELL-PUBLICIZED INTER PARTY COMMITTEE?
The Inter Party Committee was supposed to create a Code of Conduct for the Ruling party and the Opposition to enable Gambian Voters to be freed from intimidation and inducement. FOROYAA did promise to conduct investigation to bring the answers to concerned Gambians. Reliable information reveals that the silence over a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that should have put the committee into action is now overcome. Apparently, moves are being made to energize the Committee.
FOROYAA will follow the development of this committee and inform the public on all activities so that they will determine for themselves whether their expectations have been met.
A new Gambian voter, very alert and very conscious of what he/she wants, is emerging.
