QUESTION OF THE DAY
The following was what he said when the question was posed:
The TRRC Chairperson, Dr. Lamin Sise, responded to my letter of 13th January 2019 on 23rd January 2019. Since the media, both print and electronic, did disseminate my statement in rebuttal to Ex-Captain Mamat Cham’s fabricated evidence I will address a letter to the Commission to indicate my appreciation of their response and further convey my decision for a more comprehensive engagement so that they will gather more facts in order to be able to make an informed assessment of the evidence they are gathering.
It is time for me to narrate all the developments just before the abdication of the office of president and the office of vice president and the takeover to the establishment of the National Consultative Committee in December after I launched the democratic front and disseminated a petition calling for a national conference to determine the transition. I hope the facts I will present through an open letter to the TRRC and a request to be present to give details on what transpired between me and Captain Cham would be sufficient evidence for the Commission to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
