What are the hopes of Gambians after the change of government?
All Gambians who could visit the Gambia are now here. Many Gambians who have been away for one or two decades have come back home. Some are here to stay and others for a short visit. No one can doubt that every Gambian is enjoying a new leash of life.
The media have been exercising its freedom to disseminate divergent views. A new day has dawned.
However, the Government and the people have to move more and more into a mood for due process and reconciliation. The spirit of reconciliation must accompany any attempt to deliver justice.
