WFA TO REVIEW COMPLAINT AGAINST REFEREE TODAY

Foroyaa Sport gathers, the female pictured, is mired in an ongoing controversy after Red Scorpion of the Gambian women top division sent a protest letter to the Women Football Association (WFA) accusing her of making decisions which are unfair to them. The league match in question involved Interior and Red Scorpion played at the Yundum Goal Project on January 31. In a protest letter lodged first of this month –seen by Foroyaa Sport–copied to the women football president, referee manager and women football coordinator, the document pieced by Red Scorpions made strong allegations against the referee. Reached for comment yesterday afternoon Des Samba Mbenga president of WFA confirmed receiving such a complaint but disclosed a meeting will be held today over the issue.
