Was the President’s tour a ‘Policy Evaluation Tour’ or a ‘Popularity Assessment Tour’?
Following up the speeches of the President, one could detect that he did a lot of preaching and made a lot of promises to fulfill past unfulfilled promises.
December 1 2016 is however D-Day for the President. There is not much one could do before this date. Hence the question still stands unanswered. Did the President conduct a tour to evaluate the impact of the policies of the government on the rural population or to assess his popularity after all these incidents?
