UTG Politics: Parties Present Their Manifestoes Ahead of Today’s Election

The University of the Gambia Student Union (UTG) contending parties for TODAY’S election present and defend their manifestoes before the student voters in a convention that take place at the auditorium, Law Faculty.

The convention was organized by the student electoral body in accordance with their constitutional mandate that requires them to organize such an event to debate about their manifestoes.

The two teams that are contesting for the UTGSU leadership positions are UTG Inter School Alliance for Change and the Salvation-solutionist Coalitions. The duo parties have twelve candidates that are contesting for various executive positions.

The various candidates that are contesting for positions debate among themselves defending and promoting their policies and programs to convince the students’ voters.

The Electoral Commission advised the students’ voters to scrutinize the various policies and programs and vote on the bases issues.

The students are expected to choose their leadership today during the election. The one whose leader the University of the Gambia Student Union want to stirs the welfare of the students will be decided by today’s vote.
