UPR Outcome of The Gambia to be adopted today

The official position of the Government of The Gambia will be presented on the 171 recommendations that were made by over 60 UN Members States during the peer review on 28 October 2014. During the same session, governments and other observers will be provided an opportunity to make statements. The UPR is a unique process which involves a periodic review of the human rights records of all 193 UN Member States. The three country representatives serving as rapporteurs (“troika”) for the review of The Gambia are:  France, Kenya and Maldives.]]>
