By Sulayman Bah Kebba Ceesay is closing in on making a return after spending one year in the sidelines. The stopper was forced off the pitch last year after he sustained a knee injury which eventually pushed him to the sidelines for the rest of the Polish premier league campaign. That season, his appearance for club site Lech Poznan was reduced to eight games and he had to be taken to his native Sweden to undergo correction on his knee. It was hoped his operation would play out well but matters took a turn for the worst and he had to go under the knife for the second time. However, the 26-year-old is on the verge of a return having recuperated enough to begin in-the-field ball sessions. The defender last week began light workouts under the guidance of club Andrzej. Kebba, acquired from Swedish top flight club Djurgarden, is touted one of the best foreign defenders in Poland’s top tier. ]]>
