One adult female (name withheld) of 24 years residing in Brikama in the West Coast Region, is seeking medical assistance to facilitate her overseas treatment in Dakar, Senegal.

Ousman M Janneh, who brought the information to Foroyaa, said Jainaba was married two years ago; that due to her health condition, she was divorced and has since been battling with her health for the past four years.

Janneh said the 24-year-old female’s stomach and legs are swollen and she cannot do anything for herself; that she visited the MRC Laboratories in Fajara where she was diagnosed but could not get the right treatment in the country.

According to Janneh, the medical report of the 24 year old indicate she has bilateral oedema; that investigations revealed negative hepatitis B surface antigens; that the report further indicate a hyper-echoic liver with splenomegaly and a fibro-scan score of 52.6kpa; that a liver function test revealed hypo-albuminemia with cholestasis and raised transaminases; that this makes the MRC to refer her to Dakar Senegal for further treatment.
