The judgment in a case involving plaintiff Kindi Jallow against defendant Ocean Bay hotel stalled again on Tuesday, 8th March, 2016 at the Kanifing Industrial Tribunal after being scheduled for 7 consecutive times since 2015 without progress.

The said matter was in litigation at the said tribunal since 2012 in which both parties testified to support their case.

In the expected judgment yesterday, a court official informed that the matter will not proceed because the Court Clerk is absent who is in custodian of an important file in the matter. He promised that the plaintiff will be given another date for the judgment today.

Mr. Jallow who travels from Basse in the Upper River Region to attend the proceedings since the commencement of hearing has sued the Ocean Bay hotel as a former storekeeper for a wrongful termination of service.

The previous judgment dates that never materialized included 4 March, 23 April, 7 May, 26 May and 3 August, all 2015; and the latest being yesterday 8 March, 2016.

During the trial the plaintiff was the only person that testified to defend his case and had tendered exhibits while the human resource manager of the hotel also testified for the defendant Ocean Bay.
