Arguably this season’s title challengers in the domestic top-flight football Real De Banjul are bracing up to square off with one of the struggling league sides Team Rhino today at the Late Ousman Saho Filed, Old Yundum.
Starting at 4 pm, the encounter is a must win game for the Whites of Real de Banjul or risk adding the gap between them and table-toppers Waa Banjul who will play a day after if they slip again.
Occupying 4th-place in the first division league, Real have identical points (10) and goal difference (4) with Falcons FC who occupy 3rd-placed for scoring one more (10). They would go top on Friday if they win while waiting for Saturday’s results to either maintain that spot or go down.
Team Rhino on the other hand will be looking to secure their second win of the league from a team that lost against their archrivals Wallidan in week-five by 2-1. Sitting on 5 points, with one win, two draws and losing two games, a win for them will take them a little above mid-table. A loss would spell doom for them as they would edge closer to the danger zone. Their win over Banjul United in week-five removed them from the relegation zone.
