THE PRESIDENT NEEDS ADVICE

47

A President is not an ordinary person. This is why he or she is maintained at state expense without paying any taxes.  Neither a President nor an opponent should make pronouncements that are derogatory, inflammatory or defamatory. Statements issued by a president or his or her opponents must not be bring their offices or persons into disrepute or make them a subject of hatred and malice.

A nation where leaders do not hold each other in high esteem despite their political differences is sowing the seed of conflict.  A stable country is where government exists in an atmosphere where it can exercise the duty to govern according to the Constitution without any hindrance and where the opposition could hold it into account according to law without any restriction. He therefore needs advice to defend the sanctity and integrity of the office by avoiding the pitfalls of reacting to unpleasant comments with angry invectives.
