THE PRESIDENT IS INVITED TO VISIT THE SANDIKA AREA

20

Foroyaa invited the Minister of Transport, Works and Infrastructure to visit the Sandika area to see what is happening to the newly constructed roads aimed at improving the movement of people, goods and services in the area. We have inquired from the people of the community and cannot get any confirmation of the appearance of the Minister in the area.

If the government is not to mislead itself, it should not only visit locations where major constructions are taking place but also local communities where the people live, sell, buy, pray, play and carry out all their social interactions. The authorities are being invited to enable them to keep in touch with the grassroots and their conditions. This will enable them to be sensitive and responsive to their concerns.

We hope the President will make a surprise visit to the area so that he could have a chat with the Minister and the NRA on how to build infrastructure not for its sake but address the challenges faced by the people daily.
