Gambian troops are being deployed to DARFUR and we have not heard any interaction between the executive and National Assembly before any such deployment. The executive and the National Assembly should be alert to what is already known and pointed out and implement section 188 Subsection (4) of the Constitution which reads:
“The President shall not deploy any troops outside The Gambia without the approval of the National Assembly.”
