The political stage in the Gambia is changing very rapidly. The old wave and the new wave are still evident in Gambian politics.
Some Gambians are insulting or defending personalities and others are explaining and defending policies. The vast majority of Gambians are still waiting to take a position.
Poverty is growing and ignorance is close at its heels. Insults and derogatory remarks would never defeat ignorance and poverty. Knowledge and policies are the means to do so. The twenty first century should be the battle of ideas. Truth is the basis of our liberation. Seek knowledge and love truth, then a bright future will be our reward.
