Foroyaa has noticed that of all the reports of arrests and detention of persons, none have reported so far of arrest and detention by the NIA (State Security Agency). This tends to give the impression that the role of the NIA has changed under the current dispensation. Foroyaa is deeply interested in enlightening the public on what has transpired to move the NIA from the role that earned it so much condemnation under the previous dispensation. Foroyaa will try to reach out to the Director General of the NIA in order to seek for an exclusive interview on the role of NIA under the current dispensation.
