Foroyaa has gathered that Alhaji Ceesay has a life threatening illness
and would like the state to consider his plight. Medical doctors
should be ordered to give accurate report to the ministry of interior.If the information is substantiated, the ministry should forward the
letter to the Attorney General Chambers for intervention to facilitate
his discharge and release.
The Attorney General has powers to file Nolle Prosequi and this would
be an ideal situation to act if the doctor confirms his illness.
Justice and mercy are twins. The ill deserve both justice and mercy.
The balance should tip to the side which reasons, conscience, time and
circumstances dictate.
