By Rohey Jadama Sarjo Manneh the father of Chief Ebrima Manneh who went missing in July 2006 has said that the disappearance of his son has caused him sleepless nights as he thinks about his son day and night. Mr. Manneh made this remark at his residence in Lamin during the visit of the Gambia Press Union to pay solidarity to the family as yesterday marks 9 years since Journalist Chief Manneh disappeared without trace. The father said he has appeal to the Vice President, Imam fatty amongst others for them to help him trace his son but his efforts bears no fruits. “I went from Fatoto, to Sare Ngai in search of my son but I could not still locate him. The government could have sent delegation to the family and explain to them that they are not responsible for his disappearance and make effort on investigation. I am powerless but I leave everything to Allah”, said the distraught Father. ]]>
