Travellers who frequent the road from Barra to Upper Nuimi inhale so much dust and go through torture because of the potholes which force vehicles to meander.
It is amazing that Gambia is celebrating 51 years of Independence whilst people who reside in an area that is just few kilometres away from Barra are unable to travel on good roads.
We strongly urge the minister of works to visit the area with the view to tell the nation why these roads have been in such a dilapidated state since the country attained Independence.
What has happened to all the taxes paid by the people in the area for the past 51 years?
