Sutusinjang village recently reached the finals of Foni Berefet
District knockout tournament sending Besse packing in the semis.Goals scored in each half from playmaker Mamadi Ceesay dubbed Ballack,
was enough to wreak havoc and end Besse’s hopes of partaking in the
finals.
The victory which had hundred spectators from Sutusinjang to raptures
means they now face nemesis Bulock A in the final event, a side they
lost to in the semis of the district tournament proper.
An ecstatic Sutusinjang gaffer Omar Manga was all delight while his
opposite number Jerreh Sanyang declined to talk to the press for
post-match comment.
‘I am happy for the boys. This is the first time we are going to a final
in this tournament even though we got kicked out of the district
championship. The boys have done well,’ Manga said in aftermath of the
game.
