Super Nawettan: Brikama labours past Sukuta

A Mustapha Drammeh volley in the 39th minute was enough to seal all points for the Sateba Boys consequently condemning Sukuta to their first defeat.

The Sukuta fans, voted one of the best in the previous tournament, were their usual gingering selves but their roars failed to spark the life out of their adversaries.

Elsewhere, Bara, Eassau and Mayamba acronym as BEM also failed to get past a booming SK West side losing 1-0.

In an Earlier encounter, champions Serrekunda East were held by Banjul last weekend at the East grounds in the opening fixture of the Super Nawettan.

New entrant Wally Fofana broke the deadlock with beauty before Tamsir Sanyang leveled ten minutes on in the second-half.
