By Mustapha Jallow Reliable information reaching this reporter indicates that the Auditor of the Rural Finance Project, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Sulayman Manneh, who was arrested and detained by the State security agents on Sunday 7 September, 2014, has been released. According to a source, Manneh was detained at the Fraud Squad at the Police Headquarters in Banjul and released on bail at about 2pm yesterday, 16 September, 2014, without being charged. Readers could recall that Mr. Sulayman Manneh was arrested along with three senior Agriculture officials by members of the Fraud Squad. Those arrested at the time by the Fraud Squad are Mr. Lamin Mass, Mr. Lamin Fatajo and Madam Ada Gaye. All four detainees are now released on bail after the expiration of the 72 hour deadline for detention without court appearance. ]]>
