Gambia striker Ousman Jallow is out on the pitch fringes nursing an
injury, Foroyaa Sport can report.
The attacker is sidelined by a hamstring and was not part of his club HJK Helsinki’s latest 3-0 trouncing of Jaro.26-year-old former Wallidan man sustained the injury in the slender
win over newly promoted KTP , a game he climbed off the substitutes’
bench as a 65th minute sub before hobbling off grimacing sheer agony.
The timing of the injury comes at a worst possible time for a forward
who’d played just thirty-eight minutes in three matches.
The extent of the abrasion is scheduled to be determined this week.
The Finnish league title holders as a result of the setback are left
with just two established strikers including Demba Savage, and, are
considering, should the Gambian stay longer in the periphery,
recruit a new goal-poacher to fill the void.
Should against expectations, the ex-U-17 ace stays out longer, it will
seriously hamper Gambia’s Afcon 2017 campaign to begin next month with
Momodou Ceesay also professionally inactive.]]>
