SSHFC’s Total Investment Stood at over D119 Million in 2022

The report of the Augustus Prom Audit Firm has disclosed that the total investment income of the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC) stood at One Hundred and Nineteen Million, Two Hundred and Fifty-One Thousand Dalasi (D119,251,000) in 2022.

The firm made this disclosure in its audited report on the financial transactions of the corporation for the years 2021 and 2022, under the federated pension fund.

“The total investment income of the SSHFC stood at One Hundred and Nineteen Million, Two Hundred and Fifty-One Thousand Dalasi (D119,251,000 in 2022, from One Hundred and Twenty-One Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Dalasi (D121,800,000) in 2021,” disclosed Augustus Prom.

On general and administrative expenses, it reported that the total expenditure on this segment increased from D53,665,000 (Fifty-Three Million Six Hundred and Sixty-Five Thousand Dalasi) in 2021 to Sixty Million, Five hundred and Seventy-Six Thousand Dalasi (D53,665,000).

According to the firm, the total investment properties in 2021 and 2022 stood at the same total of Two Hundred and Forty-Three Million, Eight Hundred and Ten Thousand Dalasi (D243,810,000).

“The corporation’s loan to members amounted to Sixty-Nine Million and Seventy-Four Thousand Dalasi (D69,074,000) in 2022 from Seventy-Five Million, Eighty Hundred and Thirty-Five Thousand Dalasi (D75,835,000) in 2021,” reported Augustus Prom.

It added that trade and other receivables totaled Six Hundred and Sixty Million, Nine Hundred and Sixty-Six Thousand Dalasi (D660,966,000) in 2022 from Six Hundred and Seventy-Two Million, Eight Hundred and Fourteen Thousand Dalasi (D672,814,000).

Interest accrued on other financial investments, it averred, stood at Thirty Million and Thirty-Seven Thousand Dalasi in 2022 from Nine Hundred and Sixty-Three Million Six, Hundred and Fifty-Eight Thousand Dalasi (963,658,000) in 2021.

“Net contribution from members stood at Ninety-Six Million Four Hundred and Sixty-Four Thousand Dalasi (96,464,000) in 2022 compared to Ninety-Three Million Nine Hundred and Fifty-Eight Thousand Dalasi in 2021,” it reported.
