Statement -The Annual General Meeting of the Sports Journalists’
Association of The Gambia (SJAG) that was planned to take place on the
26th of this month has now been moved to 3rd of October, 2015.The decision was taken by the executive committee during an executive
meeting on Wednesday, following demands from members that the schedule
date is too close to the Tobaski.
While apologizing for any incontinence this change might have caused to
some members, the executive thank you for the understanding and
cooperation and look forward to meeting you at the AGM.
During the AGM, the assistant secretary general Alieu Ceesay and
Treasurer Namory Trawally will present their reports before members.
Meanwhile, the executive body of SJAG under the acting presidency of
Musa Sise wishes all sports journalists a Happy Tobaski in advance and
pray that you live to witness many more to come.
We also seize this opportunity to invite all sports journalists to a
very important general meeting on Saturday, 19th September, 2015 by
11:30am at Africell Building along Kairaba Avenue.
