QUESTION OF THE DAY
A recent revelation that four soldiers who were reported by Foroyaa to be arrested have been tried and dismissed from the force raises many questions. The reason why courts conduct their proceedings in public is to enable the people to know what happened rather than simply receiving facts from interviews. We therefore hope that under the new dispensation, court-martials will be held in public so that there will be no room for speculation.
